Ordered a veg box for Christmas which was brilliant, all produce super fresh and didn't have the hassle of going to a supermarket. Will be using them again :)

Always uses locally sourced meats and poultry for additional freshness and taste . Just found the chicken sausages which are delicious.

Excellent butchers. Their pork belly is the best available in the area. Great price and friendly, helpful service too! Highly recommend.

Just finished eating an amazing fillet of beef, it was tender and full of flavour, I made a rich gravy with stock from the free bones and roasted potatoes in the fat off the bones, we had goulash made with braising steak & skirt yesterday that was full of flavour, the spag Bol using steak mince was delicious (none of that gritty chewy texture you sometimes end up with), I can recommend the sausages that have black pudding in them, really pleased with the quality and service from Crakeside and will continue to support them, ohh and it’s great that you can pop to the farm if you can’t make the market😁

I bought a large fillet of pork from the Ulverston stall its was absolutely delicious will definitely buy again x

Only tried their Tomato and Black pudding sausages and must say they stayed succulent when cooked and were meaty and very good
