Mood Steakhouse and Restaurant Nottingham

Wow! What a fabulous steak restaurant. The food was incredible, so tasty & the portion sizes was great! The atmosphere & decor was fantastic too. We really like the blossom feature wall. To start we shared a lovely plate of hummus & pitta. We then devoured the BBQ chicken lollipops & crispy beef tacos from the Mood Tapas menu along with the Smoked Cheddar Fillet from the Mood Cuts menu & the Mood Signature Steak & sauce (peppercorn sauce). They were the tastiest steak we have both had! For dessert we had the Dubai Kunafa Brownie with pistachio sauce & the Cookie Dough. All portion sizes were really good & the desserts were huge! We definitely could have shared one dessert between the two of us. The chefs created mouthwatering dishes & the barman made some exquisite mocktails; we highly recommend the pina coco & the strawberry smash. Our server, Saba, who was absolutely amazing; so knowledgeable with her recommendations, kind, polite & friendly. It’s a cosy & intimate setting, with a light, fresh feel. We can’t wait to go & try out their breakfast menu & roast dinners!

We went for a meal with the family the food was incredible and the steak was fresh and very good quality . The atmosphere was great and the staff were super friendly and accommodating especially Saba. Family friendly and options for everyone Would definitely recommend and we would definitely be going down again very soon.

We recently visited Mood Restaurant with my family and had such a great experience. We ordered the signature steak, chicken tacos, pan-fried salmon, and children’s chicken tenders — and I can honestly say the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I travel all around the Midlands trying different steakhouses (it’s basically all he eats!), and we thought we’d already found our favourite… but this place has completely topped it. The prices were very reasonable, the interior is beautiful, and we had no trouble finding on-street parking. A special mention to our waitress, Saba, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive — genuinely one of the loveliest service experiences we’ve had. The mocktails were also a highlight — refreshing and not overly sweet, which paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, we had a really great experience. With a new chef and a refreshed menu, this place is definitely worth visiting — highly recommend!

I went to Mood for the first time today. The service was really good and staff were really friendly. I ordered from the brunch menu, I chose the Mood Full English and it was beautifully cooked and presented. I asked if I could remove the eggs and they kindly offered me an alternative, so I chose the halloumi. Honestly one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve ever tasted. It wasn’t greasy and all came out piping hot. I also ordered the Strawberry Matcha which I’ve never tried before. I found it very refreshing and pretty to look at. The venue is very clean and the kitchen is open so you can see your food being cooked (which I loved) I will definitely be back again for another breakfast and already planning on going back to try the dinner menu. Two of us went for lunch today. The steak was one of the best I’ve eaten and the Dianne sauce was amazing. However, the service was terrible and it was not busy so there was no reason. For the service alone we won’t be returning. We got a 10% service charge which I do not feel was warranted. I always tip in restaurants if food and service is good but today’s service did not warrant a tip and especially at 10% (around £8 today). I can see why they weren’t busy today and if the service doesn’t improve the business will not last.

This was my first time coming to mood and it was delicious. I am usually not a fan of breakfast but the food was great. Saba and Tequila served us and they were so nice and accommodating. Definitely will come back again.

The aesthetic and atmosphere in Mood is really nice. The service was great and quick, every staff made sure we had everything we needed. We went for lamb chops (which were my favourite), teriyaki beef, truffle fries and chicken tenders, all of which were tasty. We also tried a few different mocktails which were nice too. If you’re looking for a nice place with a variety of food options and good service, this is your place.
