Had an issue with the brakes squealing on my lovely old Rover Metro. Called around a few garages in GY hoping to get someone to look at it same-day and Ace was the only place with space. They took it in, diagnosed and fixed the problem and charged me for an hour's labour. Customer service was great, very friendly and accommodating of a last-minute booking.

This has been one of the most frustrating and confusing workshop experiences I’ve ever had — all because of a warning light. The first time I brought my car in, they ran a sensor diagnostic and charged me £72. They said there wasn’t any real issue, just did a general cleaning, and the warning light went off. I was told everything was fine. Exactly a week later, the same warning light came back on. I returned to the workshop and was charged another £72 for diagnostics. This time, they told me it might be necessary to replace all the sensors — but even then, they weren’t certain what the actual issue was. I asked for an estimate for the potential repair costs, but no one has followed up. There’s been no clear explanation, no written quote, and no proper breakdown of what’s being done. To make things even more confusing, the lady I spoke with on this visit said the issue is now something different entirely — but they still need to investigate further. At this point, I have no idea what they're actually doing during these diagnostics or what the root cause is. I’ve spent £144 so far with no resolution and no confidence in the process. It feels like I’m paying for guesswork with zero transparency or accountability.

Rhys from Vehicle Installation Centre fitted an infotainment system in My Fabia today. This is a spotless facility, a pleasure to see. And the girls in the office were fab. Kept me topped up with coffee and when the job overran somewhat even magicked up a Penguin for me when I remarked I was peckish. Thanks girls! xx

Very nice people and very very helpful. I took my car in for wheel alignment but sadly it could not be done due to how low it was. The people there recommended another company which turned out to be perfect. I also had a chat about rust issues and old cars with them and they advised me of a great rust prevention liquid that they use and even give me a sample. If you are in the area and have any car issues then I highly recommend this company. Keep up the great work

We have had a terrible experience here. Where do I start. They didn't have a clue! Volvo went in in limp mode. No former problems to indicate anything major. After 2 weeks they said its fixed, then phoned to say no it wasn't. After guessing they believe that it may be a fuel injector, that was fixed. Made me pay £882.064p by bank transfer!! Went to pick up the car 4xweeks later to find it shuddering and blowing out copiousamounts of white smoke Needless to say, my solicitor will be advising
