The food was pretty decent and the staff were quite friendly, service was reasonably quick too. The decor was nice with plenty of seating. However, the staff member told us before we sat down that it is cash only and that there is a cash machine down the street. Which is understandable, but the machine charges £2 to withdraw cash, and then I saw a different customer paying by card at the counter. They should deduct the charge at the very least.

It was my first time coming here and I am honestly impressed with my experience here at Grillz. I heard alot of good things about this place via word of mouth and social media. Customer service from start to finish has been fantastic. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Big shout out to staff Anu and Kayaer. The food and drinks in particular were 10/10. The interior is astonishing. Very assertive and gave a fantastic first impression. I will soon be back in sha Allah. Keep up the good work 🤲🏼

Absolutely fantastic experience at Grillz Restaurant on Coventry Road! I’m visiting Birmingham from the USA and decided to try Grillz tonight—and I’m so glad I did. The food was a solid 10/10: we had the chicken steaks and beef steaks with chips, along with a variety of sauces, and every single bite was outstanding. The meats were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care, and the chips and sauces took everything to the next level. The service was also a perfect 10/10—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. To top it all off, we were treated to complementary tea and dessert, which was such a lovely gesture and just as delicious as the main meal. The ambiance was really lovely, relaxed and stylish, making it a great place to sit back and enjoy a meal. If you’re in Birmingham, Grillz is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to everyone back home!

Celebrated my sons 18th birthday Food was absolutely amazing, The cake trio with the birthday sparkler was beautiful and tasted amazing 👏 Staff were really friendly and patient. Love the decor. I would just like to add that it's cash only here which is such a pain! Definitely need a card machine.

The food was a bit of a hit and miss. While some items were enjoyable, I found the parmesan chicken disappointing it tasted like something straight out of a cash and carry, lacking flavour and freshness. Service, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations. Not once were we checked on during our meal to see if we needed anything, which left us feeling a bit overlooked. I won’t care if I was in a local chip shop. But prices are comparatively high so expectations are higher

Grillz Steaks & Desserts is hands down one of my favourite spots in Birmingham – a regular go-to with the family. The food is always spot on, and the service is truly exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and looked after – always polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. Their hospitality is unmatched and adds so much to the overall experience. On our latest visit, we had a perfectly cooked medium steak, a fully loaded parmo, a chicken parmo, and even tried their biryani – every single dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. To top it off, we were given complimentary churros, and I have to say – they were by far the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, warm, and absolutely delicious. That thoughtful touch really shows how much they care about their customers. Can’t recommend this place enough – whether it's for a hearty meal, a sweet treat, or just a lovely evening out with family, Grillz always delivers an outstanding experience.
